ONE Wake leaders in Cary have committed to engage in non-partisan GOTV canvassing to ensure that Cary voters don't overlook this important runoff election. Our goal is to engage 600 infrequent voters in select precincts, as well as to recruit pledges to vote from ~100 members of our institution.
On July 7 at 5:30 PM we will kick off our runoff canvassing campaign with a brief press conference to help call attention to the start of early voting, and to draw a connection between the runoff election and affordable housing policy in Cary. Immediately following the press conference, our team of volunteer canvassers will prepare to knock on doors at Precinct 04-06.

Canvassers will receive a brief, 20 minute orientation to review materials which will be sent in advance. All canvassers will work in pairs, and will be supported throughout the canvass by ONE Wake staff.
