Join hundreds of Cary residents for a strictly non-partisan Get-Out-The-Vote rally and march on the first day of early voting: Thursday, April 28, at 6:00 pm. We will gather at First UMC Cary, within close walking distance to the polling station at the Herbert Young Community Center. Candidates will be invited to publicly address the ONE Wake membership during a brief program, followed immediately by a march to vote.  

The purpose of this action is to:

• Lift up the importance of increasing affordable housing in Cary; 
• Give candidates an opportunity to be recognized and publicly commit to work with ONE Wake to support a designated housing fund;  
• Increase the visibility of Cary’s delayed municipal election and ensure robust voter participation. 

ONE Wake is a non-partisan organization that does not endorse candidates. All candidates who have filed will be invited to this event and will be given equal treatment during the event.
