Description:
The Industrial Areas Foundation is nationally and internationally recognized for the use of community organizing tools to recruit and develop talented leaders and knit communities together for collective action.
Over the course of the training senior IAF organizers will teach what those tools are, how to use them to bring about sustainable community change, and how these same tools can be exercised by clergy and leaders in religious and secular institutions to build more powerful, welcoming, and relational churches, temples, and organizations.
Who Should Attend:
Clergy and top leaders from institutions participating with Wake County Sponsors are invited to participate. We suggest bringing a team of at least 3-5 leaders.
Cost:
$100 for members of Wake County Sponsors dues paying institutions
$200 for members of non-dues paying institutions
Funds will be used to pay for meals and additional trainers from the IAF.
Please make checks out to Wake County Sponsors, 4907 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC.
