Instructions 

Enter at 301 S. McDowell St (Nash Square Entrance). The Commissioners are meeting in Room 2700. Parking is available in the Wake County Parking Deck at 216 W. Cabarrus St. After parking, you will head north on McDowell for one block. 

Please arrive early. Each person entering the Justice Center will be required to go through a security checkpoint which may take some time.

ONE Wake will have leaders at the Nash Square entrance to hand out materials and to brief you on any last minute changes. 

Description

During the action, a small number of Wake County residents who are directly impacted by unaffordable property taxes, and clergy, will make public comment which should start around 5:30 pm. Participants could reasonably expect to leave no later than 6:30 pm. 

The purpose of this action is keep ONE Wake leaders at the negotiating table with the County Commissioners to ensure that property tax assistance is included in next year's budget. By the time of this meeting, the Commissioners will have completed two retreats to shape next year's budget. This is a crucial time for ONE Wake to take action. Please register to join us today!
