Who Should Attend: clergy, executive directors, and top leaders from ONE Wake member institutions.

Purpose: to review and shape proposals for public action this fall with key decisionmakers across the county. 

Thanks to your support, ONE Wake is in a strong position to organize a series of public negotiations with elected officials in multiple municipalities this fall.

Our strategy is to deliver hundreds of members to large, disciplined actions where we will ask key decisionmakers to support our shared issue platform for change, which includes:

- Prioritizing a penny from the property tax rate in Cary to generate an annual fund of $3 million for affordable housing;
 
- Winning a property tax subsidy program from the City of Raleigh and Wake County to protect the homes and generational wealth of long time, low income homeowners; 

- Supporting residents of Wellington Park in Wake Forest who are at risk of displacement and homelessness.
