When September 15, 2022 at 10:00am 1 hr 30 mins

Who Should Attend: clergy, executive directors, and top leaders from ONE Wake member institutions.

Location: Fellowship Hall, Macedonia UMC, 2700 Jones Franklin Rd, Cary. Parking is on a front circle on Tryon Road side, or the back lot with plenty of space. The Fellowship Hall door has a labeled, purple awning on the rear side, and on the front side the door is labeled as well.

Purpose: to review and shape proposals for two non-partisan assemblies this fall with candidates for Raleigh City Council, as well as US Senate.

Our strategy is to deliver hundreds of members to large, disciplined actions where we will ask candidates to support our shared issue platform for change, which includes:

- Winning new public investment to protect the homes and generational wealth of long time, low income homeowners that are threatened with displacement by rising housing cost, including property taxes;

- Eliminating barriers to the workforce development pipeline so that low wage earning residents can reskill into higher wage careers.

Please register in advance. All who register early will be sent prep materials ahead of the meeting.
