Over the past month leaders from the ONE Wake Education Team have held four research actions with experts across the county. We have met: 

- Joyce Loveless, Center for Supportive Schools;
- Elizabeth DeKonty, Public Schools Forum;
- Gayle Headen, NC Smart Start;
- Debbie Thome, Disability Rights North Carolina.  

We are proposing that we do the following:

1) Hear summary reports from the research actions that team members have held to date;
2) Ratify a strategy to engage more experts in a second round of research actions;
3) Approve a report to bring to the March 26 Internal Assembly.
