On June 8 ONE Wake's membership voted to prioritize Affordable Housing as one of the three focus areas for our next grassroots agenda. Since then, over 40 ONE Wake members have signed up to be on the Housing Research Action Team (learn more about RATs here). Based on the strong response so far, we have divided the Housing Research Action Team into three sub-groups (more can be added as needed).

These subgroups include:

- Fair Treatment for Chatham Estates Residents and Business Owners (Cary);
- More Resources for People Experiencing Homelessness (Raleigh / Countywide);
- Addressing Rising Housing Cost Burden for Low Income Homeowners (Countywide).

The Chatham Estates Team will meet on Wednesday, July 5 from 7pm - 8:30 pm, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 S Walnut St, Cary. The meeting will open with orientation and training, and we will also discuss the research that we need to do to prepare for action. Please register today!
