Due to an overwhelming number of public speakers signed up for tonight’s Raleigh City Council meeting (nearly 2.5 hours of comments!), ONE Wake leaders have decided to relocate our action for a more effective approach in speaking out for transformative, at-scale affordable housing.
Instead of attending tonight's Council meeting, we invite all ONE Wake members to join us at the UU Fellowship of Raleigh (3313 Wade Ave) for a briefing on our housing campaign and a coordinated email bank action. This will allow many more of our members to make their voices heard while keeping the evening efficient and impactful.
Given this last-minute change, please help spread the word to any core team members who planned to attend.
