ONE Wake members St. John's Episcopal Church and Friendship Chapel Baptist Church have been working closely with neighborhood leaders at the Wellington Park mobile home community in Wake Forest. 

Residents have been meeting regularly since they received news that their mobile home park is under contract to be sold to an out of state developer. The sale, which is contingent on the rezoning of the park, would displace 47 families and would eliminate one of the last affordable communities in town. 

For the last month, residents and supporters have been developing a strategy to save the mobile home park. We are approaching a crucial moment in this campaign and need the support of as many Wake Forest residents as possible.
