**We will gather in front of the Cabarrus parking deck on Salisbury St**

ONE Wake leaders and our colleagues from Durham CAN and the NC Congress of Latino Organizations will hold a press conference next Wednesday at 12:00 pm, alongside the Save SAU Coalition, and Self-Help Credit Union to address the high interest loan that threatens the future of the University. ONE Wake and our partners are working to confirm a location and will announce as soon as possible.

The purpose of the press conference is to put public pressure on Gothic Ventures to either reduce the high interest rate of their loan to SAU from 24% to 9%, or to waive the pre-payment penalty included with the loan so that another lender can assume the debt with more favorable terms to the University.
