During ONE Wake's Annual Meeting on June 10 nearly 300 leaders from over 50 institutions committed to organize a 10,000 voter bloc to support change on our top issues during public actions this fall (learn more about our issue platform here). We're calling this strategy 10,000 STRONG.

To accomplish this goal, each ONE Wake member institution is asked to recruit 200 voters from your institution and outside communities where you already have relationships.

Our primary tool is what we call relational canvassing: a deeper form of connection than the often brief, transactional conversations that normally accompany traditional canvassing campaigns. Our goals for relational canvassing are not just to recruit voters, but also to help you deepen your relationships with members of your institution and community and get a better understanding of their self interest, needs, and concerns in this moment.
